Phoebe introduces Boo to the world

Here's the new child on the premises.  Her name is Boo..... well that's what everyone calls her, but Bella just hisses at her.  So I decided to be nice, and introduce myself, and try to teach this young lady exactly who was boss around here.  ME!  I am Phoebe GB and I am an edu-ma-cated cat.  It is my place to teach this young chicken-nugget the ways of the home if she's going to stay here.  So far she's done very well.  She's pretty smart so she can stay.

Boo had her ears cropped in the accepted doberman pinscher crop yesterday.  Her ears are "posted" and wrapped with vet wrap to protect the staples and the open wound from any dirt that could cause infection.  I would lick her ears to keep them clean, but she won't hold still.

Last night she got really lucky and was allowed to stay in the house.  What pushovers meowmie and fafur are!  They even went out to the store and bought a child-gate for the bathroom door.  Anyone who knows meowmie, knows that is NOT something she has in the house......  she hates kids.  Of any size and shape.  I understand she has some extra large cages just in case she finds any running loose anywhere.  Glad I'm not a kid.

So after Bella smacked Boo on the nose, and I went and hissed at Bella for being so rude, Bella went and hibernated in the closet till Boo went back outside in the morning.  Bella is not very sociable but that's because she is meowmie trained.  Ooops, I didn't say that.  I went over and patted Boo's nose to make sure it was okay and showed her where her bed was in the bathroom, and I went and got it nice and soft for her before she laid down to go to sleep.  Because it was her first night in the house, I stood guard on the rim of the garden tub in case she got scared during the night.

Everyone thinks Boo is a very pretty dog, and very smart.  She's calm too.  Once she stopped chasing me around the room, she seemed to understand that I was NOT a chew toy and started listening to me as I was teaching her about staying on her blanket and out of my food.

I guess for a dog she's okay.  She's still small enough to "instruct" so I think I'll keep her.
