Leah is our second generation breeder in
the Harraden bloodline. Sold as a puppy to a military family, we
were fortunate to be able to buy her back only 2 weeks after losing her
mother, Cleopatrice Harraden, in a car
accident. Seeing as we got her back on March 17, 1996, she became
our Irish good luck charm. Thus the name she received.
Leah has calmed down considerably and become our alpha female. Giving us several very beautiful litters of puppies before being spayed and retired after her April 2001 litter. And now, Leah's daughter Sandi Rose, will carry on the breeding tradition of the Harraden bloodline, becoming the third generation of our doberman lineage. Leah's new grand-daughter and grandson, will follow Sandi as they grow and mature. In early 2008, Leah's granddaughter, Boo, assumed the alpha position at the kennel. Sandi is still here, but is not the alpha we assumed she would be. Boo wormed her way up a generation and took that position for herself. So Boo and Beau are presently the Dobieden guardians. |
